Clean Water Monitoring Data

Virginia's committment to clean water extends to the logging industry, which is required to keep streams and waterways free of sediment during a timber harvest. The Virginia Department of Forestry inspects logging jobs to ensure that best management practices are followed, and field audits of logging jobs and streams provide a system of "checks and balances" for our Water Quality Program.
