Mature Size: 20 to 35 feet in height and 1 to 2 feet in diameter

Form: Dense, round spreading crown that can be irregular

Soil Type: Clay, loamy, occasionally wet but well drained

Light: Full sun

Foliage: Simple elliptical to ovate, 2 to 4 inches, turns yellow in the fall

Blooms: Early to mid spring

Flowers: White

Fruit: Round, red/yellow pome

Values and Uses: Vastly ornamental in the spring with small white flowers. Produces abundant ½ -inch apples. Songbirds, deer, turkey, bear and other wildlife love the fruit. Fruit production starts in 5 to 10 years.
