Hunting Opportunities for Disabled/Handicapped Sportsmen
Fall 2006 hunting dates for disabled/handicapped sportsmen have been established at the New Kent Forestry Center in Providence Forge. Disabled/handicapped hunters interested in archery, black powder or open hunting must call 804 966-9645 and request their preferred hunting dates. A first-come, first-served drawing will be held to assign specific dates for this year's hunts.
Archery hunts are available Oct. 14th and Oct. 28th. Black powder hunts will be held Nov. 10th and 11th. Open hunts are scheduled for Dec. 16th and Dec. 30th.
