The Virginia Department of Forestry (VDOF) provides the following GIS data layers available for Download free of charge. Data are in a custom Lambert Conformal Conic projection for Virginia, NAD 83.

All files are in a .Zip format and can be uncompressed using WinZip.

Metadata are provided in both XML and HTML formats, and are created in accordance with the FGDC metadata standards.
