Volunteer Fire Assistance Program Grants

1. The volunteer fire department (VFD) completes the application form in full.
2. The VFD returns the application to the VFA Grants Administrator in the Resource Protection Division at Central Office.
3. The VFA Grants Adminstrator will score the applications and award grants to VFDs.
   • Incomplete applications will not be considered.
   • Applications received after the specified deadline in the Central Office will not be considered.

Federal Excess Personal Property

1. The VFD completes the application form in full.
2. The VFD returns the application to the VDOF Central Office, Attention: FEPP Resource Protection Division.
3. Applications may be submitted at any time. The Resource Protection Division maintains the waiting list for Federal Excess Property.
   • Incomplete applications will not be considered.
